Dynamic Video Pages
The idea of designing one template webpage, that has dynamic variable objects in the page is the best way to fulfill everyone in our companies needs. Each page needs to have the same page design, but with different text, buttons, and even sections depending on the video.
If the video is focusing on the Renter’s Advantage Loan, then we will want the page’s buttons and links to send the user to the Renter’s Advantage home page. You’ll want the video page to have text content addressing the loan type that the video is addressing. Being able to change the content on one template page to make the whole page match the video content is why I’ve made just about the entire page dynamic.
If this process is made so simple that the marketing regionals can easily go into a single page, and paste what they want into a few fields on a page, they can easily setup a video page in 5 minutes. With these pages, we have done that.
Dynamic:
Imagery, Text, and Links
With each Single Video Page, we have 3 images which have the option of switching out by clicking an image button, and picking an image in the WordPress editor. Otherwise the default image populates. Super simple.
All this content can very easily be switched out by anyone who has access to the WordPress editor. All with a few simple clicks, copys, and pastes.
Hero Images
We have the Video Overlay image (with Steve and the play arrow), we have the image behind the video (with the hoomes on a wood plank), and we have the Blue Hero Image (currently a sky with a S1L Logo).
Text Content
All the Headings, Subheadings, Paragraph Text, CTA Text, Button Text, and Links can easily be switched out with the WP editor.
Optional CTA Sections
Adding Relevant CTA Content and Page Links
Having relevant Call To Action sections that will relate with the topic of the videos will lead to higher conversion with the videos. After all, conversion is what the videos were originally created for.
These sections create an easy path for our users to get information and to get into contact with us. The easier the path for them, the more conversions for us.
